Rheumatology is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Bilingual Medical Assistant to join our healthcare teams in Lawrenceville, GA. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of experience in a clinic or urgent care setting and a solid understanding of physiology. We especially welcome applicants who are proactive and can quickly suggest new and improved workflows to enhance patient care and clinic efficiency. This role is pivotal in providing high-quality patient service and ensuring smooth operations within our medical facility. You will work closely with healthcare professionals to support patient care, accurately document medical history, take vital signs, administer intramuscular (IM) injections, and maintain a welcoming environment for patients. Responsibilities Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures, ensuring comfort and safety. Take and record vital signs, including blood pressure, heart rate, and temperature. Administer intramuscular (IM) injections as directed by healthcare providers. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in accordance with internal medicine protocols. Support the daily operations of the clinic, including managing patient flow and scheduling appointments. Ensure cleanliness and organization of examination rooms and medical equipment. Provide exceptional patient service by addressing inquiries and concerns promptly. Proactively identify and suggest new or improved workflows that support clinic efficiency and patient care. Experience and Qualifications Minimum 2 years experience as a Medical Assistant in a hospital, urgent care, or clinic environment required. Knowledge of physiology is essential for effective patient assessment and care. Ability to type 30 words per minute. Experience with outpatient care. Strong communication skills to interact effectively with patients and healthcare staff. Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment while maintaining professionalism at all times. Bilingual proficiency required. Proactive approach to problem-solving and workflow improvement highly valued.
