Job Description
Experienced Medical Assistant (Family Medicine) Trust Health MD is seeking a compassionate, dependable, and motivated Medical Assistant to join our growing family medicine practice. We are looking for someone who is eager to learn, provides excellent patient care, and enjoys working as part of a team. This position offers opportunities for growth and increased responsibilities within the practice. We believe in recognizing and rewarding hard work, reliability, and professional development. Responsibilities Room patients and obtain vital signs Document patient history and chief complaints Prepare patients for examinations and procedures Administer injections and perform basic clinical procedures as directed Assist providers during patient visits Perform EKGs, rapid testing, urine testing, and specimen collection Process prescription refill requests Assist with referrals, prior authorizations, and patient follow-up Maintain accurate patient records within the electronic medical record (EMR) Answer patient questions and provide excellent customer service Maintain exam rooms and ensure proper infection control procedures Assist with general clinical and administrative duties as needed Qualifications Medical Assistant experience preferred Family Medicine or Primary Care experience preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills Excellent organizational and time-management skills Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Strong attention to detail Experience with electronic medical records preferred Dependable, professional, and team-oriented Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus but not required What We Are Looking For We are looking for someone with a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a willingness to learn and grow with our practice. The ideal candidate is compassionate, dependable, and committed to providing excellent care and service to our patients. Pay $18.00-$22.00 per hour, based on experience. Opportunities for performance-based pay increases are available as skills, responsibilities, and experience grow.
