Certified Medical Assistant

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Certified Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care in an outpatient setting, assisting with various medical procedures, and ensuring a smooth workflow within the clinic. This role requires a strong understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, and patient service to deliver high-quality support to both patients and healthcare providers. Duties Assist healthcare professionals in performing medical procedures and examinations. Prepare patients for examinations by taking vital signs and medical histories. Administer medications as directed by physicians and monitor patient responses. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations. Educate patients on treatment plans, medications, and follow-up care. Coordinate patient appointments and manage scheduling efficiently. Ensure cleanliness and organization of examination rooms and medical equipment. Uphold the highest standards of patient care and service in accordance with hospital policies. Experience Certification as a Medical Assistant is required. Experience in outpatient settings is preferred, particularly in internal medicine or hospital medicine environments. Knowledge of medical-surgical procedures and terminology is essential. Familiarity with working in a Level I Trauma Center is a plus. Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with patients and healthcare team members. Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
