Duties Assist healthcare providers with patient intake, including gathering medical histories and documenting symptoms accurately in Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems. Measure and record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiratory rate to support diagnosis and treatment plans. Prepare patients for examinations by explaining procedures and ensuring comfort throughout their visit. Support clinical procedures such as medication administration, X-ray imaging, and basic life support when needed. Manage medical administrative tasks including ICD coding for diagnoses, appointment scheduling, and maintaining detailed patient records. Conduct in-clinic procedures across outpatient settings, including dermatology assessments, geriatrics care, or internal medicine consultations. Assist with inpatient care activities at hospital or Level I/II trauma centers, ensuring seamless coordination between departments. Perform routine laboratory tasks such as assisting with X-ray procedures under supervision. Skills Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and pharmacology relevant to diverse Proven experience working in outpatient clinics or hospital settings with familiarity in medical-surgical procedures and emergency medicine protocols. Proficiency with EHR systems for accurate documentation of patient encounters and ICD coding practices. Excellent patient service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and compassionately across diverse populations including geriatrics and pediatric patients. Ability to perform vital signs collection, intake assessments, and basic life support confidently in fast-paced environments such as urgent care or trauma centers. Experience supporting clinical procedures like medication administration or X-ray imaging within hospital or outpatient clinics. Knowledge of hospital experience requirements including Level I/II trauma center operations or inpatient care workflows.
