In this vital role, you will provide essential clinical and administrative support across various medical settings, including outpatient clinics, hospital units, and specialty departments such as dermatology, emergency medicine, and geriatrics. Your proactive approach will ensure smooth patient flow, accurate documentation, and high-quality patient care. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where your skills directly impact patient outcomes and overall clinic efficiency. Responsibilities Greet patients warmly, verify their information, and assist with intake procedures to ensure a positive experience. Measure and record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration rates accurately. Prepare patients for examinations or procedures by explaining processes and ensuring comfort. Assist healthcare providers with clinical tasks including medication administration, X-ray procedures, and basic life support during emergencies. Maintain detailed documentation in Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems, including patient histories, ICD coding (International Classification of Diseases), and medical terminology entries. Support inpatient and outpatient care by monitoring patient status, updating records on physiology and anatomy knowledge, and assisting with hospital-based procedures. Manage medical supplies inventory, sterilize equipment, and ensure compliance with safety protocols in hospital or clinic settings. Skills Extensive knowledge of dermatology, internal medicine, hospital medicine, urgent care, emergency medicine, geriatrics, medical-surgical practices, PICU (Pediatric Intensive Care Unit), OR (Operating Room) procedures, Level I & II trauma center protocols. Proven experience working in hospital environments or outpatient clinics with a focus on patient service excellence. Strong understanding of medical terminology, ICD coding standards, anatomy and physiology fundamentals necessary for accurate documentation. Competence in using EHR systems efficiently to document patient encounters and coordinate care seamlessly. Ability to perform intake assessments, vital signs collection, medication administration, X-ray procedures, and basic life support certification is highly desirable. Familiarity with inpatient care protocols and Level I trauma center experience enhances your ability to adapt quickly in high-pressure situations. Excellent communication skills coupled with a proactive attitude toward patient care and team collaboration are essential for success in this role.
