Cosmic Pediatrics is seeking a dedicated Certified Medical Assistant to serve as a vital link between our physicians and our patients. We pride ourselves on providing exceptional pediatric care to the Newnan community and are looking for a team player who excels in a fast-paced ambulatory setting. Responsibilities Greet patients warmly including collecting vital signs and updating medical histories using Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems Prepare exam rooms and assist healthcare providers during examinations, procedures, and treatments such as medication administration Manage medical administrative support tasks including appointment scheduling, insurance verification, and maintaining accurate patient records Assist with laboratory procedures and basic diagnostic tests in clinical settings such as emergency medicine or hospital environments Ensure compliance with safety protocols including Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications and infection control standards Experience Prior experience working in hospital medicine, urgent care clinics, or outpatient settings is highly preferred

Certification:

Valid Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) credential is required.
