Position Description:
Lead Medical Assistant Reports to: Clinic and ASC Site manager MISSION The Lead Medical Assistant (MA) is responsible for creating an exceptional patient experience while providing competent and compassionate care to every patient. The Lead MA role is fluid and versatile with progressively increasing responsibilities including helping direct efficiencies and maintaining high standards for EMR documentation in the clinic and
ASC. OUTCOMES
In a fast paced and high volume work environment, acquire and analyze accurate clinical information from the patient's chart, guide the clinical staff (MAs, sonographers, FOC) according to information gathered from the multiples sources, and to effectively communicate the information to clinical staff and providers to manage the flow of clinic. Able to acquire, analyze, and provide accurate clinical information to the medical team in a timely manner, while maintaining accurate patient charting in a fast paced and high volume work environment. Constantly monitor the patient and work-flow to keep the clinic functioning effectively and efficiently, while disseminating the appropriate tasks to each member of the team in a clear, compelling, and objective manner. Creates a positive and motivating work environment, and makes team members feel that their contributions are visible and valued. Self-aware of their own actions, its impact, and the willingness to admit and take responsibility. Observes situational and group dynamics and selects best fit approach to solve problems. Able to execute on new or changing processes/practices into current workflows as directed to optimize patient experience/outcomes

High School Diploma or GED Previous Job Relevant Work Experience:
2+ years of clinical experience Credentials/Licensures Current CMA Certification or equivalent work experience
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous, Job Relevant Work Experience:
3+ years of experience in Urology or Gynecology field Previous experience in high volume clinical settings Working knowledge of Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system/program Credentials/Licensures Current CMA certification
