This energetic position offers the opportunity to support physicians and healthcare providers by performing clinical and administrative tasks that ensure smooth clinic operations. Duties Assist with patient intake processes, including collecting medical histories and recording vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration rates. Prepare patients for examinations or procedures by explaining procedures, positioning them appropriately, and ensuring comfort. Support physicians with clinical tasks such as administering medications. Manage electronic health record (EHR) systems by accurately documenting patient information, updating medical records, and coding diagnoses using ICD (International Classification of Diseases) codes. Provide exceptional patient service by answering questions, scheduling follow-up appointments, and ensuring a positive experience throughout their visit. Requirements Previous experience working in a medical office environment. Proficiency in medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology is required. Strong communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with patients and healthcare team members. Knowledge of insurances Able to Multi- task Able handle confidential information with sensitivity and discretion.
Pay:
$21.00 - $25.00 per hour
