Job Description

Overview:
Urological Associates of Savannah provides urology services to an adult population. Quality patient care, service, and our patients' satisfaction are our primary concerns. The trademark of Urological Associates of Savannah is the dedicated attention to each patient's needs in order to maintain and improve their quality of life. It is our goal to provide our highest quality of services and products, in a cost-effective manner, to all our patients.
Job Summary:
Assist the provider with all aspects of patient care including, but not limited to, time of service patient triage, results follow up, and patient communication.
Duties:
Review, sign, and maintain all clinical protocols as relayed by the Clinical Manager. Assist assigned provider by gathering clinical information and entering it into the EHR. Respond, resolve, and document all patient correspondence. Ensure accurate documentation with a clear audit trail. Ensure MIPS compliance throughout the clinical workflow. Complete time of service patient triage, including, but not limited to, obtaining medical history, medications, and vitals. Complete any and all medication pre-authorizations. Monitor all orders entered by assigned provider to ensure each order is completed in a timely manner based on clinical protocols. Perform other tasks as needed or directed by the Company's management team. Qualifications (Required): Certified Medical Assistant license or equivalent Three (3)+ years of relevant experience Ability to communicate clearly with patients Ability to keep an organized workflow and effectively manage multiple tasks at one time Ability to be active and mobile for an eight (8)-hour period The statements listed above describe the principle functions of the job and should not be considered as a detailed description of all work requirements that are inherent to the position.
