In this vital role, you will provide exceptional patient care, support clinical and administrative operations, and assist healthcare providers. Your expertise will help ensure smooth patient flow, accurate documentation, and high-quality medical support in a fast-paced environment. This position offers an exciting opportunity to grow your skills while making a meaningful difference in patients' lives. Duties Perform patient intake procedures, including collecting medical histories, height and weight and documenting vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, and respirations. Assist with clinical tasks like confirming medications, and setting up supplies for procedures and restocking rooms. Manage electronic health record (EHR) systems accurately to document patient encounters, and consent forms for procedures. Prepare exam rooms and assist with medical-surgical procedures, ensuring all equipment is sterilized and ready for use. Provide excellent patient service by answering questions, explaining procedures, and ensuring comfort during visits Assist with scheduling referrals from other Doctor's offices Communicate with patients and other providers via fax, phone and email Requirements Certified Medical Assistant credentialed from an accredited program or institution Travel to satellite locations Basic life support (BLS) certification required Solid understanding of maintaining the sterile field and infection prevention best practices Proven experience in dermatology office settings, urgent care, outpatient clinics or similar healthcare environments Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and medication administration protocols Familiarity with EHR systems and medical administrative support functions such as scheduling and patient intake Ability to perform clinical duties including vital signs collection, medication administration, and patient care in outpatient setting Strong communication skills with a compassionate approach to patient service and teamwork Join us to be part of a passionate healthcare team committed to delivering outstanding patient care across diverse specialties.
