Daily Tasks May Include:

Preparing patient charts for upcoming appointments to include secure any documents or images needed from the hospital or referring facility as needed for coordination of care. Obtaining and recording vital signs (height, weight, blood pressure, pulse, respiration and temperature) Updating patient records based on changes to medications and health history between visits Assisting provider in carrying out and documenting next steps in the patient's plans of care Scheduling follow up patient appointments as needed Ordering any tests or medications as requested by the treating provider Processing referrals for therapy, imaging, DME, home care, and/or other providers Responding to patient questions and concerns

Skills/Requirements:

Graduation from an accredited Medical Assisting program OR current Medical Assistant certification Three (3) years of previous medical office experience, preferred Strong verbal communication skills Comfortable working within multiple software systems including

EHR, PM, PACS and Microsoft Office About Us:
