About Good Dog Veterinary Care Good Dog Veterinary Care is the premier "all-dog" veterinary practice in the Southeastern United States, and the only "all-dog" veterinary practice in the state of Georgia. We are a full-service veterinary hospital, specializing in wellness and preventive care while also seeing emergency cases. Qualifications Demonstrates the ability to show empathy toward clients and treat dogs with respect and compassion. Maintain and use correct medical terminology. Ability to complete assigned tasks without direct supervision. Excellent interpersonal communication and customer service skills. Ability to perform routine veterinary medical procedures (e.g., collect stool and blood samples and administer injectable medications). Ability to maintain accurate medical records and to create treatment plans for all products and services. Preferred One-year recent experience in a veterinary practice, with increasing responsibilities. A high school diploma or GED qualification. Education equivalent to two years of college (pre-veterinary curriculum) Responsibilities consist of, but are not limited to: Multi-task, respond quickly and calmly to emergencies, helping others through necessary tasks. Follow the exam room timeline and other established processes to assist veterinarians and case managers with examinations. Ensure that medications, treatments, and equipment are ready to be used when needed. Exhibit knowledge of the hospital's programs, products, services, and metric tracking. Discuss treatment plans and be able to confidently communicate the importance and value of recommended items. Communicate with clients regarding the medical status of their dogs. Demonstrate courtesy, compassion, and professionalism in all client interactions. Maintain all medical equipment and treatment areas as required. We are at a very exciting point in the growth of Good Dog Veterinary Care! In the past 6 years, Dr. Patrick Singletary and Natalie Singletary have grown the company from a 1 DVM to a 10 DVM practice. We opened Good Dog Veterinary Care West Cobb in 2019. Then, we opened our second location in Smyrna in June 2023, and our third location in East Cobb August of 2024. To support our plans for growth and expansion we are actively recruiting talented candidates for all positions including Veterinarians, Registered Veterinary Technicians, Veterinary Assistants, Customer Service Representatives, and Kennel Assistants.
