Clinical Medical Assistant Atlantic Advanced Spine and Neurology Institute - 5.0 Suwanee, GA Job Details Full-time $17 - $20 an hour 1 day ago Benefits 401(k) Paid time off Qualifications Medical office experience Handling customer inquiries Clinic experience Health insurance pre-authorization requirements Front desk Medical assisting Working with adult populations Cross-functional collaboration Full Job Description Medical Assistant/Receptionist Atlantic Advanced Spine and Neurology Institute (AASNI) is actively seeking a motivated Medical Assistant with more than one year medical clinic office experience for the busy pain management and neurology clinics at three locations-- Lilburn, Suwanee and Braselton. Office hours are 8:30am to 5:00pm Mon-Fri including 1 hour lunch break time(hours/days may vary), typically 35-40 hours a week. Individuals who pose a direct threat or significant risk to the health or safety of themselves or others are excluded. You will have the chance to be promoted based on performance in a rapidly growing practice. In addition, you will get bonus based on your capabilities and skills. Position Summary:
The Medical Assistant is responsible for check in and check out patients, assist with tests and procedures, medical record request, coordinate referrals, scheduling, confirming appointments, prior authorization and other documenting, and providing high-level customer service to patients. This position will also require to take the receptionist role, such as scheduling, confirming appointments, and providing high-level customer service to patients. In addition, the receptionist works closely with biller for insurance eligibility check and prior authorizations for tests and procedures. This position requires a team player who is willing to work hard in a fast-paced environment.
Position Requirements:
At least 1-2 year of Medical Assistant experience in a medical office setting is required. Able to work at all three locations Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Ability to communicate effectively with other staff members and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Must be able to work as a team member and collaborate effectively with others.
