Basic life support Full Job Description US Heart and Vascular is needing a Part-time Medical Assistant to join our team at Cardiovascular Care of North Georgia in Johns Creek, GA.

Responsibilities:

Assists healthcare providers with patient examinations, procedures, and treatments. Records patient histories, vital signs, and other pertinent information in medical records. Prepares and maintain examination rooms, ensuring they are clean and well-stocked. Schedules patient appointments and manage the front desk operations. Processes patient intake forms and insurance documentation. Administers medications and injections as directed by physicians. Performs basic laboratory tests and assist with sample collection. Maintains confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations. Provides patient education and support, answering questions about treatments and procedures. Assists in maintaining inventory of medical supplies and equipmen When position requires travel to/from other locations, ensures vehicles are operated and maintained in compliance with all safety, regulatory, and company requirements Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

A High School diploma or GED from accredited institution. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. If the individual in the role will drive for work purposes, a current valid state driver's license and required minimum auto insurance coverage. Working knowledge of Office 365 programs such as Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, etc. Working knowledge of EMR systems Current Certification as a Medical Assistant preferred but not required Cardiology practice experience preferred but not required
