Job Description

Certified Medical Assistant, CMA -
Northside Outpatient Responsibilities:
Responsible for the medical aspects of the practice that are not performed by the physician. Capable to perform these duties for: Adults and Geriatrics. Responsible for maintaining medication records according to the Medication Policy. Responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of examination rooms. Responsible for maintaining patient flow in and out of office. Responsible for Health Checks Reviews all diagnostic tests results. Responsible for compliance with OSHA and CLIA standards. Provides appropriate care for patients as indicated, taking into consideration their condition and age: Demonstrates the ability to communicate with patients, taking into consideration their condition and age. Good physical and mental health. Able to work under supervision or independently as directed by the situation and under stressful conditions
Education/Experience:
Highschool graduate or its equivalent is required. Graduate of Medical Assistant Program. Certified as Medical Assistant.
Required Skills:
All skills necessary in the medical office, such as proper sterilization techniques, drawing blood, taking vital signs, and giving injections.
