Certified Medical Assistant

• Job Overview:

• Busy vascular office seeking a dedicated Certified Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have a team-first attitude, be independently resourceful, professional in demeanor, and provide essential support to healthcare professionals, ensuring the efficient delivery of patient care. Epic EMR experience is a big plus.

• Responsibilities:

• Assist healthcare providers in patient examinations and ensuring that clinic operates smoothly
• Perform basic medical procedures including rooming patients, taking vitals, medication reconciliation
• Maintain accurate patient records and assist with medical documentation
• Provide exceptional patient service and care with empathy and professionalism
• Handle medical administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and managing patient flow

• Requirements:

• Certification as a Medical Assistant
• Proficiency in electronic medical charting, medical terminology and anatomy knowledge
• Competancy and certification in BLS
• Ability to perform clinical tasks such as taking vital signs and assisting with clinic procedures as needed
• Strong interpersonal skills for effective patient interaction
• Prior experience in patient care and medical administrative support
