We're looking for a skilled and enthusiastic Medical Assistant to join our growing team.Position Summary:
We are seeking a confident, motivated, and dependable Medical Assistant with a positive attitude and a passion for delivering outstanding patient care. The ideal candidate will be professional, energetic, and experienced in both clinical and administrative tasks within a medical office setting.Responsibilities:
Perform patient intake, including obtaining and recording vital signs and medical histories Administer injections and immunizations Perform venipuncture and specimen collection Conduct wound care and assist with minor procedures Support providers during exams and treatments Perform EKGs as needed Educate and support patients throughout their visit Accurately document in the EMR system Ensure exam rooms are clean, stocked, and ready Uphold infection control and safety protocols Deliver excellent patient interaction and service Communicate clearly with patients and colleagues Help maintain smooth clinic operations and workflowRequirements :
Current BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification (must be current) Two-step TB clearance (must be current) Adult and pediatric First aid, CPR, and AED certification (Must be current) Skilled in venipuncture and injection administration Familiarity with EMR systems and medical terminology Strong verbal and written communication skills Reliable, organized, and detail-oriented Positive, team-oriented, and patient-focused attitudePreferred Qualifications:
Preferred 2-3 years of experience in a medical office setting (primary or urgent care preferred) EKG experience Experience in urgent care or high-volume settings Demonstrated excellence in patient service Bilingual or multilingual skills (not required but a plus) Why Join Us?
