Job Description

Certified Medical Assistant (Full-Time) The Wellnest | Mililani, HI About Us The Wellnest is a wellness and aesthetic medical practice dedicated to helping our patients look and feel their best through personalized, evidence-based care. We pride ourselves on providing exceptional patient experiences in a warm, professional, and collaborative environment. We're looking for a motivated, positive, and dependable Certified Medical Assistant who is excited to be part of a growing practice. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys variety, takes initiative, and thrives in a fast-paced setting where every team member contributes to the success of the practice. Position Summary As a Certified Medical Assistant, you'll support our providers with clinical care while also assisting with front office operations, patient communication, social media content, and general administrative tasks. No two days are exactly the same, making this a great opportunity for someone who enjoys wearing multiple hats and being part of a close-knit team. Responsibilities Clinical Duties Prepare patients for examinations and aesthetic treatments Obtain vital signs and medical histories Assist providers during procedures Perform phlebotomy Prepare and administer IM and SQ injections as directed Assist with IV therapy Sterilize instruments and maintain treatment rooms Stock supplies and manage inventory Document patient encounters accurately in the EMR Educate patients on treatment plans and post-procedure instructions Front Office & Administrative Duties Welcome patients and provide exceptional customer service Answer phones and respond to patient inquiries Schedule appointments and manage provider calendars Verify patient information and process payments Assist with patient follow-up and recalls Maintain an organized and efficient front office Marketing & Office Support Help create social media content including photos, videos, and behind-the-scenes content Assist with patient testimonials and before-and-after photography Support marketing campaigns, promotions, and events Help keep the office organized and running efficiently Pitch in wherever needed to support the team Qualifications Current Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification required Current BLS/CPR certification Minimum 1 year of medical assistant experience preferred Phlebotomy experience preferred Aesthetic, dermatology, plastic surgery, or med spa experience is a plus Strong communication and interpersonal skills Comfortable using electronic medical records Professional appearance and positive attitude Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills Reliable, adaptable, and able to multitask We're Looking for
