Overview Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Medical Assistant - Entry Level, where your enthusiasm and dedication will make a meaningful difference in patient care. You will support healthcare providers by performing essential clinical and administrative tasks, ensuring smooth operations and exceptional patient experiences. Responsibilities Assist with patient intake procedures by collecting medical histories, verifying insurance information, and updating electronic health records (EHR systems) accurately. Measure vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration rates to support clinical assessments. Prepare patients for examinations or procedures by explaining processes and ensuring comfort throughout their visit. Document medical information precisely using medical terminology and ICD coding standards for billing and record-keeping purposes. Maintain a clean, organized clinical environment while adhering to safety protocols for infection control and patient privacy. Provide exceptional patient service by addressing questions, offering reassurance, and ensuring a positive experience during each visit. Experience Familiarity with EHR systems, medical terminology, anatomy knowledge, physiology principles, and ICD coding a plus but willing to train Customer service exp. Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams ensures seamless patient care delivery.
