At Physicians' Clinic of Iowa, we are focused on delivering quality patient care. Our Podiatry Department is currently seeking a full time Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to deliver care that is second to none in our high volume-fast paced practice. Primary duties for this position include, but are not limited to: Working along with providers in a clinic setting. Greet and room patients while maintaining a welcoming and professional environment. Prepare patients for provider examination and assist providers during in-office medical procedures. Record and maintaining records of vitals and other pertinent patient health data. Support the casting process, including preparation, application, and removal of casts Patient education on upcoming procedures, medications, etc. per provider's protocol. Triage patient calls for providers and answer patient questions.
Qualifications:
Medical certification/license is required. CPR certification is required or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire. Proficiency (or ability to become proficient) in EMR and related computer systems. Strong Commitment to patient care and teamwork. Excellent communication skills, professionalism, reliability, and maintaining confidentiality. Thorough understanding of safety regulations and best practices. Why Join PCI?
