Overview Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Medical Assistant, where your expertise will directly impact patient care and streamline clinical operations. Whether working in outpatient clinics, hospital settings, or specialized units, you will be at the forefront of delivering quality healthcare services. Responsibilities Greet patients warmly and assist with check-in procedures, including collecting accurate intake information and verifying insurance details Measure and record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration rates with precision Prepare patients for examinations by explaining procedures and ensuring comfort throughout their visit Assist healthcare providers with clinical tasks including medication administration, specimen collection, and basic wound care Operate EHR (Electronic Health Record) systems efficiently to document patient encounters accurately and maintain detailed medical records Support diagnostic procedures such as X-ray imaging or basic laboratory tests when required Manage patient flow by scheduling appointments, follow-ups, and coordinating referrals to specialists or inpatient services Requirements Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, ICD coding (International Classification of Diseases), and pharmacology principles Demonstrated ability to perform clinical tasks including medication administration and vital signs measurement with accuracy and professionalism Familiarity with EHR systems and medical administrative support functions such as appointment scheduling and patient intake processes Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) willingness to obtain certifications if not already held .
