Our practice serves a multi-state patient population that expects top-tier clinical care, exceptional service, and access to state-of-the-art technology. We are seeking an experienced Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to join our clinical team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced specialty environment, values teamwork, and is comfortable supporting both clinical and front desk operations as needed. Primary Responsibilities Job duties may include, but are not limited to: Record patients' medical history, vitals, test results, and clinical information in the electronic medical record (EMR) Prepare exam and procedure rooms, ensuring cleanliness, organization, and appropriate supply levels Escort patients to exam rooms and prepare them for provider evaluation Obtain patient histories and measure vital signs, height, and weight Assist providers during examinations and clinical procedures as needed Prepare and process medications as directed by the physician Coordinate prescription refills and communicate with pharmacies Educate patients regarding treatment plans, medications, diets, and physician instructions Clean, sterilize, and maintain medical instruments and dispose of contaminated supplies appropriately Schedule patient testing, imaging, and referrals with outside facilities Utilize insurance portals to obtain prior authorizations for testing, imaging, and referrals Support front desk operations as needed, including phones, scheduling, and patient check-in/check-out Ideal Candidate Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) credential required Prior experience in ENT, specialty care, or surgical settings preferred Strong communication and patient education skills Comfortable working in a team-based, fast-moving clinical environment Flexible and willing to assist with front desk coverage when needed High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Pay:
$22.00 - $27.00 per hour
