We specialize in Male and Female hormone replacement and also offer a complete Med spa experience. We look for applicants who work well with a team and are interested in growing with a local company. Refine Hormone Center, located in West Des Moines, IA, is seeking a Medical Assistant to join our team. We are a clinic dedicated to providing compassionate and efficient medical care for patients in the field of Hormone Replacement for both men and women.

Back-office responsibilities primarily include:

Administering injections, drawing blood, and assisting with IV procedures. Alerting the provider to any problems, concerns, or abnormalities. Performing simple patient procedures, setting up exam/procedure rooms (including instruments for minor procedures), and preparing and administering medications under the direct supervision of a provider. Obtaining lab specimens and filling out requisitions completely and accurately. Will act as backup for front-office when needed (answer phone, take a message, etc.)..

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Graduate of a Medical Assistant Program or completion of a U.S. Armed Forces medical services training program. Efficient and experienced in phlebotomy. Demonstrated experience with computer program utilized for checking-in and scheduling patients Ability to pass a background check Previous MA experience

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

BLS (American Heart Association) Previous MA experience MA certification Electronic Medical Record (EMR) experience
