Duties Perform patient intake procedures, including collecting medical histories and documenting symptoms accurately. Measure and record vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration rates to assist clinicians in diagnosis. Prepare patients for examinations by explaining procedures and ensuring their comfort. Assist with in-clinic procedures. Operate Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems to document patient information precisely and efficiently. Support medical administrative functions including appointment scheduling, ICD coding for diagnoses, and managing patient flow. Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment while adhering to safety protocols at all times. Skills Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and pharmacology to support accurate patient care. Proven experience working in hospital medicine, emergency medicine, urgent care, surgical setting, or outpatient clinics preferred. Familiarity with EHR systems and ICD coding ensures precise documentation and billing processes. Ability to perform basic vital sign assessment confidently. Excellent patient service skills with a compassionate approach to diverse populations.
