Team:
The ideal Certified Medical Assistant candidate would bring positive energy and a strong work ethic with the ability to thrive in a team environment. Experience in a surgical setting is preferred. Being fun to work with is required. Our CMA's function at the top of their scope and are typically responsible for the following:
Support Physicians:
Assist providers during patient examinations, procedures, and treatments, ensuring seamless and efficient workflow.
Patient Care:
Provide exceptional patient care by taking vital signs, documenting medical histories, and preparing patients for procedures with a compassionate and empathetic approach.
Team Collaboration:
Work closely with other medical assistants, nurses, and administrative staff to ensure cohesive teamwork and outstanding patient experiences.
Patient Education:
Educate patients on skincare, treatment plans, and post-procedure care, demonstrating excellent communication skills and a patient-centered approach.
Supply Management:
Manage inventory of medical supplies, ensuring availability and organization in exam rooms to support efficient patient care.
Compliance and Confidentiality:
Adhere to HIPAA regulations, maintain patient confidentiality, and ensure accurate documentation in electronic health records (EHR).
Sterilization and Safety:
Prepare and maintain sterile medical instruments and equipment, following strict protocols to uphold safety standards.
Procedure Assistance:
Assist with minor surgical procedures and cosmetic treatments, ensuring patient comfort and safety throughout the process.
Quality Improvement:
Actively participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care, teamwork, and overall clinic performance. Other duties as needed
Qualifications:
Certified Medical Assistant in Washington and Idaho High School Diploma or equivalent BLS certification Competency and familiarity with electronic medical records Understanding of HIPAA guidelines and rules
Preferred:
Regenerative Medicine, Functional Medicine, ASC, ER, OR experience
Preferred:
2 years of CMA experience
Skills:
Outstanding customer service skills Attention to detail and pride in your work Ability to maintain a work pace appropriate to the workload Ability to thrive in a team environment Excellent communication skills Ability to manage multiple procedures, patients and schedules
