Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Medical Assistant to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this vital role, you will provide exceptional patient care, support clinical operations, and ensure smooth administrative workflows. Your expertise in patient care, and clinical support will contribute significantly to delivering high-quality healthcare experiences. This position offers an exciting opportunity for a motivated professional eager to make a positive impact in endocrine care. Duties Assist with patient intake by collecting medical histories, vital signs, and updating electronic health records (EHR systems) accurately Prepare patients for their visit with their provider, assist in patient education Support physicians and healthcare providers with clinical tasks such as medication administration, ordering labs, imaging and DME supply orders Conduct routine diagnostic tasks including taking vital signs, performing ICD coding for diagnoses, placing orders under provider delegation Manage medical supplies inventory, maintain cleanliness of clinical areas Support outpatient care by returning voice messages, refilling prescriptions and completing prior authorizations We work in a team environment, providing support to our colleague's and assisting with overflow for all providers Requirements Proven experience as a Medical Assistant Strong knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, anatomy, ICD coding, and medication administration protocols Familiarity with EHR systems and proficiency in documentation Ability to perform clinical procedures accurately while maintaining patient safety and comfort Excellent patient service skills with a compassionate and empathetic approach to diverse populations Join us to be part of a passionate family oriented team committed to delivering outstanding healthcare services. Pay:
$23.00 - $25.00 per hour
