Job Description
Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing quality patient care and assisting healthcare professionals in various medical procedures. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are passionate about healthcare and want to make a positive impact on patients' lives.Duties:
- Perform vital signs
- Assist with patient examinations and procedures under the supervision of healthcare professionals
- Refill medications
- Provide medical administrative support, including scheduling appointments, maintaining patient records, and handling billing and coding tasks
- Ensure proper sterilization of medical instruments and equipment
- Assist surgeons with office procedures
- Assist with patient check-in and check-out processes
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
Experience:
- Proven experience as a Medical Assistant or relevant healthcare role
- Proficiency in medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and medical administrative procedures
- Familiarity with medication administration techniques
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
- Ability to effectively communicate with patients and healthcare professionals

Note:
All positions at our facility are paid positions. We do not offer unpaid internships or volunteer opportunities. We are unable to work around a BYUI schedule. This is a full-time position. Monday- Thursday 8AM-5:30PM and Friday 8:30AM
