Job Description

Company Overview Oswego Wellness is a welcoming private practice situated near the vibrant downtown area of Plainfield, IL. Our team of dedicated clinicians and a registered dietitian work collaboratively to provide comprehensive healthcare services across all age groups, utilizing modern amenities housed within a charming, historic home. Join Our Collaborative Psychiatric Private Practice We are seeking a compassionate, dependable Medical Assistant to support our growing Spravato® (esketamine) treatment program within a well-established outpatient psychiatric private practice. This is an excellent opportunity to work closely with a multidisciplinary team in a comfortable, supportive, and patient-centered environment.
Position Details Schedule:
Tuesdays and Thursdays, 8:00 AM - 5:00
PM Hours:
Up to 16 hours per week

Earned PTO Responsibilities Prepare patients for Spravato treatment appointments Obtain and document vital signs Monitor and support patients throughout treatment sessions Assist providers with patient care and clinical documentation Maintain accurate medical records and treatment logs Ensure treatment rooms are clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards Coordinate scheduling and communicate with patients and Prescriber Liason regarding appointments Collaborate with therapists, prescribers, and administrative staff to provide exceptional patient care Qualifications Medical Assistant certification preferred (or equivalent clinical experience) Current CPR certification preferred Experience in psychiatry, behavioral health, or outpatient medical settings is a plus Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to remain calm, professional, and attentive in a clinical environment Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills Comfortable working independently while contributing to a team-oriented culture What We Offer Supportive and collaborative team environment Comfortable outpatient office setting Meaningful work helping patients access innovative mental health treatments Consistent part-time schedule Paid Time Off earned based on hours worked If you are passionate about patient care and interested in being part of a growing mental health practice, we would love to hear from you.
