Midwest Allergy Inc - 5.0 Elgin, IL Job Details Full-time $16 - $17 an hour 21 hours ago Qualifications Computer operation Spanish Certified Phlebotomy Technician Teamwork Vital signs Interpersonal skills Full Job Description Bilingual Medical Assistant Elgin & Westchester, Illinois We are currently seeking a Bilingual (Spanish) Medical Assistant to join our growing Allergy, Asthma, and Clinical Immunology practice. We will also consider the following professionals with Phlebotomy Certification , with the understanding that you will be cross-trained in all aspects of the role: Patient Care Technician (PCT) Phlebotomy Technician Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Our ideal candidate is outgoing, friendly, professional, honest, reliable, and committed to providing exceptional patient care. Teamwork and a positive attitude are essential. Requirements Bilingual in Spanish (Required) Phlebotomy certification (Required) Must work set clinic hours (Saturdays required) Must live within 15-20 minutes or within a 10-15 mile radius of the clinic Reliable transportation Excellent attendance and dependability Ability to multitask and work well under pressure Job Responsibilities Provide patient care under physician supervision Room patients, obtain vitals, and update information in EHR Administer immunotherapy and biologic injections Send prescribed medications Perform blood draws, allergy testing, and other lab testing Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment Perform additional medical duties as assigned Front desk duties including answering phones, scheduling appointments, and collecting payments Qualifications Previous medical office experience preferred Strong computer skills Ability to prioritize and multitask efficiently Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport with patients Bilingual in Spanish (Required) Phlebotomy certification (Required) Workplace Standards Our clinic maintains a Zero Tolerance / Zero Harm Policy to ensure the safety and well-being of all staff and patients.
