Medical Assistant

Job Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will assist healthcare professionals in providing patient care in various medical settings.

Duties:

• Must be experienced in drawing blood and starting/inserting IV therapy
• Perform clinical tasks, including taking vital signs, preparing patients for examinations, and assisting with procedures
• Administer medications under the direction of healthcare providers
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
• Prepare and sterilize medical instruments
• Assist with patient education and communication

Qualifications:

• Certification or diploma from an accredited Medical Assistant program
• Proficiency in medical terminology and knowledge of medical systems
• Experience in outpatient services preferably Urgent care
• Strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to excellent patient service
• Basic computer skills
• Warm and kind personality that will treat patients with care

• Bilingual preferred (Spanish, Polish, Arabic, etc)
