7:00 AM•12:00 PM Job Summary "Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a dedicated and experienced Medical Assistant to support both front and back office operations in a busy healthcare setting. The ideal candidate will assist with patient intake, rooming patients, scheduling appointments, answering phones, taking vital signs, performing phlebotomy procedures, administering vaccines, and providing clinical support as needed. Key Responsibilities Support front and back office clinical operations Greet, room, and prepare patients for provider visits Obtain and accurately document patient information and vital signs Perform phlebotomy/venipuncture and blood draw procedures Administer vaccines as directed Perform EKGs and Point-of-Care (POC) testing Schedule appointments and coordinate patient care activities Answer phones and assist with patient inquiries Maintain and update Electronic Medical Records (EMR) Ensure smooth patient flow and excellent customer service Provide additional clinical support as needed Maintain clean, organized, and safe patient care areas Follow all clinic safety, infection control, and compliance guidelines Required Qualifications Minimum 2-3 years of Medical Assistant experience preferred At least 1 year of Medical Assistant experience in addition to externship Front and back office experience required Phlebotomy/venipuncture experience required EKG experience required Point-of-Care (POC) testing experience required Scheduling and patient rooming experience required Experience taking patient vital signs required EMR experience required Current BLS or CPR certification required Strong communication, organizational, and computer skills Attention to detail and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment Preferred Qualifications Medical Assistant Certification strongly preferred Occupational Health experience strongly preferred Experience with health education and patient outreach preferred Contact Information For more details contact at or Call / Text at 516-862-1169.
