We are looking for a certified medical assistant to join us.

Duties include:
Taking vitals, immunizations, referrals, charting via an EMR system, prepping rooms, and performing other procedures with the doctors. You will also be answering phones, making appointments, and helping out with the general flow of the office..

Overview:
- We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our dynamic healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide top-notch patient care, support medical professionals, and contribute to the smooth operation of our Level I Trauma Center. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality healthcare services.
Duties:
- Assist physicians and other healthcare professionals with patient care, including taking vital signs and conducting routine medical procedures.
- Prepare patients for examinations by taking medical histories, performing phlebotomy, and administering medications.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including documenting patient information and lab results.
- Utilize medical terminology and anatomy knowledge to effectively communicate with patients and medical staff.
- Perform radiology procedures, including X-rays and other imaging tests.
- Provide patient education and support as needed, including explaining treatment options and medication instructions.
- Work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks to meet the needs of the clinic.
- Collaborate with internal medicine and other specialties to provide comprehensive care.
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of clinical procedures and protocols, including medication administration and inhalation treatments.
Experience:
- Previous experience as a Medical Assistant or in a healthcare setting is required.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy is essential for this role.
- Familiarity with trauma centers and experience working in a Level I or Level II Trauma Center is preferred.
- The ability to work effectively in an OR setting and support surgical procedures is a significant advantage.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills are necessary for providing exceptional patient care and interacting with medical staff.
