Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate, professional, and patient-focused Medical Assistant/Receptionist to join our growing concierge gynecology practice in Mount Prospect. This important person will support the doctor and patients by performing clinical and administrative duties necessary to maintain efficient patient flow and high-quality patient care. This is a paid hourly position. What Makes This Position Different Personalized concierge-style patient care Smaller patient volume (10 patients per day) with greater opportunity to develop meaningful patient relationships Close collaboration with physician Supportive and respectful work environment Opportunity to learn and grow within a specialized women's health practice Predictable part-time schedule No weekend hours Required hours: Mondays and Fridays from 8:45am-3pm and Wednesdays from 11am-7:30pm, all in office. In addition, the Medical Assistant/Receptionist must be available to answer phones and perform administrative responsibilities on Tuesdays from 9am-3pm(this can be done remotely). Must adapt to changing clinic needs and patient volume, including minimal reduction or extension of office hours as needed. Responsibilities Room patients and obtain vital signs and medical histories Prepare patients for examinations and procedures Assist physician during office visits and minor procedures Administer injections and perform other clinical duties within scope of practice Phlebotomy Manage patient communication via phone, portal, and email Schedule appointments and coordinate follow-up care Maintain accurate electronic medical records Process prescriptions, referrals, and prior authorizations as needed Ensure exam rooms are stocked, organized, and prepared for patient visits Qualifications Medical Assistant certification preferred but not required for candidates with relevant experience Previous experience in women's health, OB/GYN, primary care, or concierge medicine preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Comfortable with technology and electronic medical records Ability to work independently and as part of a small team Professional, positive, and patient-centered attitude Compensation Competitive hourly pay based on experience and qualifications. Pay:
$22.00 - $26.00 per hour
