We are seeking detail-oriented and compassionate Certified Medical Assistants (CMAs) to join our growing team. We are looking for several individuals to work in our patient-facing centers throughout the Chicagoland area, including Naperville, Orland Park, Libertyville, Glenview, and Chicago. The CMA will play a key role in supporting patients with DME (Durable Medical Equipment) therapy, including their engagement efforts, particularly for patients using PAP (Positive Airway Pressure) devices. This role focuses on providing clinical support to patients who require additional assistance. The Certified Medical Assistant will conduct scheduled patient sessions, guide patients through device usage, and help ensure successful participation in DME therapy. Key Responsibilities:
Provide clinical support to patients requiring additional assistance Conduct patient sessions to support DME usage, and adherence Educate patients on proper device usage and the importance of compliance Guide patients step-by-step through device setup and troubleshooting Address patient questions and concerns with professionalism and empathy Monitor patient progress and identify barriers to adherence Reinforce care plans and provider instructions during patient interactions Communicate patient needs, concerns, or escalations to appropriate clinical staff or providers Accurately document all patient interactions, education, and outcomes in the medical record Maintain timely and complete documentation to support billing Ensure compliance with organizational policies and healthcare regulations Assist with tracking patient participation and follow-up needs Education & Experience:
Required:
Certified Medical Assistant (AAMA) credential Strong communication and patient education skills Experience in a clinical or outpatient setting Ability to manage phone-based or virtual patient interactions effectively Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality Preferred:
