From $22/Hourly Position Summary We are seeking an experienced Medical Assistant to support both front-office and back-office clinical operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for patient intake, clinical procedures, scheduling, and administrative support while maintaining excellent patient care and teamwork. Key Responsibilities Greet and assist patients in a professional and friendly manner Room patients and prepare them for examinations Obtain and document vital signs Perform phlebotomy and venipuncture procedures Administer vaccines as directed Conduct EKGs and point-of-care (POC) testing Schedule appointments and manage patient flow Answer and direct phone calls Maintain accurate patient records using Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems Provide clinical and administrative support as needed Collaborate effectively with providers and healthcare staff Required Qualifications Minimum 1 year of Medical Assistant experience beyond externship 2-3 years of Medical Assistant experience preferred Experience with phlebotomy/venipuncture Experience using EMR systems Strong communication, organizational, and computer skills Excellent attention to detail and patient care skills Preferred Qualifications Medical Assistant Certification Occupational Health experience Required Skills Front-office and back-office operations Phlebotomy and venipuncture EKG procedures Point-of-care (POC) testing Patient scheduling Rooming patients Taking and recording vital signs Current BLS or CPR certification For more details reach at or Call / Text at 516-862-1203 .
