• Part-time Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Certified Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team.

In this role, you will provide essential support to our medical staff and ensure that patients receive high-quality care in a clinical setting. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of medical-surgical practices, coding, and have experience in various specialties including internal medicine, geriatrics, outpatient services, and urgent care. Duties Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures. Perform routine clinical tasks such as taking vital signs, preparing patients for examinations, and documenting medical histories. Administer medications as directed by physicians and monitor patient responses. Conduct basic laboratory tests and assist with X-ray procedures when necessary. Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with health regulations. Educate patients on treatment plans, medications, and follow-up care. Collaborate with the healthcare team to enhance patient care and improve clinic operations. Uphold cleanliness and organization within the clinic environment. Help with Registration and rooming of patients Requirements Certification as a Medical Assistant from an accredited program is required. Proficiency in medical-surgical practices, coding, anatomy knowledge, and familiarity with outpatient services. Experience in internal medicine or geriatrics is preferred. Ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare professionals. Knowledge of electronic health records (EHR) systems is a plus. Willingness to work flexible hours as needed to support clinic operations.
