Job Summary We are seeking a team-oriented Medical Assistant to join our busy outpatient cardiovascular practice. This is float position that that will provide MA coverage at our Palos Park and Merrionette Park, IL clinic locations. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in patient care within an outpatient, clinic setting. Our ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting Physicians, RNs and other staff with the evaluation, management, and treatment of patients. The ideal individual will have excellent communication skills, possess the ability to work effectively in a high-volume medical office environment/clinic, and be able to perform all clinical duties in a manner which promotes a team concept.

Qualifications:

One year experience as a Medical Assistant Graduate of an approved Medical Assistant training program preferred EKG experience a plus Analytical and strong interpersonal communication skills required as well as the ability to prioritize work and manage time Must have reliable transportation as MA may cover other local clinic sites as needed Heart Care Centers of Illinois offers a Monday-Friday work schedule with no nights/weekends, coupled with a competitive salary and excellent benefits package.
