Role :

As a Medical Assistant Float, you'll work across multiple departments, ensuring smooth operations and providing vital support to physicians and advanced practice providers. Your work will have a direct impact on delivering exceptional care to our patients while giving you opportunities for professional growth in a variety of clinical environments.

Primary Responsibilities :

Prepare patients for exams by accurately recording vital signs and medical histories. Perform administrative functions, including scheduling and maintaining detailed patient documentation. Coordinate referral appointments, medication refills, and other patient needs. Handle incoming and outgoing calls to ensure accurate communication of patient information. Schedule ancillary tests and procedures as directed and communicate test results and follow-up instructions to patients. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the office and medical equipment. Serve as a patient coach, offering support and care coordination. Perform other duties as assigned to support clinic operations.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED required. CPR certification required (available upon hire). Medical Assistant certification preferred. 1-2 years of clinical experience as a CNA, PCA, or MA is preferred but not required.
