GED Full Job Description Work Schedule:
100% FTE, full-time. Day shift, M-F 8-430pm. You will work at the UW Health 2404 Charles St Clinic. We are currently seeking a Medical Assistant (RMA, AAMA, CCMA or NCCT) to: Play a vital role in patient care by rooming patients, collecting vitals, performing EKGs and phlebotomy, and assisting with treatments in a fast‑paced, team‑driven clinical environment. Build hands-on clinical expertise while working closely with providers to support procedures, coordinate care, and respond to patient needs. Be part of a high-quality, safety-focused team by maintaining clean, fully stocked exam rooms, supporting infection control, and ensuring accurate, timely documentation in Epic. Abundant career growth opportunities to nurture professional development Strong shared governance structure Commitment to employee voice Qualifications Graduated from an accredited Associate degree program or Medical Assistant program or have at least 2 years of relevant experience. Required Laboratory and phlebotomy training required within 30 days of hire. Required Drug and alcohol screening, and N95 training required within 30 days of hire. Required Must provide copy of HS diploma or equivalent, or highest level of completed degree obtained. Required Work Experience At least one year of professional experience in a clinic setting. Preferred Computer experience. Required Licenses & Certifications RMA, AAMA, CCMA or NCCT certification is required upon hire. Required Bi-Annual CPR certification. Required Active RMA, AAMA, CCMA or NCCT certification must be maintained. Required Audiometry certification through Northern Illinois University or Health Conservation, Inc. (HCI), required within 30 days of hire.
