About the
Role:
Seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant . This position requires experience in preparing exam rooms, assisting with procedures, and managing patient flow while ensuring clinical records are up to date. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of rooming a high volume of patients, performing injections, and navigating EPIC.

Qualifications:
Education:
High school diploma or GED.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in EPIC (preferred) and experience with clinical administrative tasks.
Knowledge:
Strong understanding of manual blood pressure, administering intramuscular and Sub Q injections, and performing EKGs.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and sanitize examination rooms, ensuring all supplies are stocked for patient visits. Escort patients to exam rooms and obtain vital signs, weight, height, and health history. Room an average of 25 patients per day while maintaining high documentation accuracy. Assist physicians or APNs during exams and medical procedures. Perform Point of Care testing and administer intramuscular and Sub Q injections. Handle referrals, prior authorizations, and coordinate with pharmacies, labs, and imaging centers. Manage patient flow and update patient information within the EPIC system. Schedule appointments as needed and address quality care gaps. Maintain compliance with infection control and vaccine accuracy protocols.
