The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in clinical procedures, patient care, and medical administrative support. As a Certified Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient service, supporting physicians and healthcare providers, and ensuring smooth clinic operations. Responsibilities Assist healthcare providers with patient intake, including collecting medical histories and documenting symptoms accurately. Measure vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration rates to monitor patient health status. Prepare patients for examinations by explaining procedures and ensuring comfort throughout their visit. Support clinical procedures including administering medications under supervision, performing basic X-ray imaging, and assisting with minor procedures. Maintain accurate documentation within Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems, including ICD coding for diagnoses and treatments. Provide exceptional patient service by addressing questions, coordinating follow-up appointments, and ensuring a positive experience. Qualifications Certification as a Medical Assistant from an accredited program is required; prior experience in dermatology, hospital medicine, urgent care, or outpatient settings is highly desirable. Demonstrated knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, ICD coding, and medication administration protocols. Experience working within Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems with proficiency in documentation and data entry. Strong understanding of clinical procedures including vital signs measurement, specimen collection, X-ray support, and basic laboratory tasks.
Pay:
$19.00 - $21.00 per hour
