Job Description

Certified Medical Assistant Greenville, SC | $21•23/hr | Full-Time ExecuSource has partnered with a highly respected Spine & Joint practice to identify a Certified Medical Assistant for their Greenville, SC location. This is a direct-hire, permanent opportunity with an organization dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care in a specialized clinical setting. The ideal candidate will be a team-oriented Medical Assistant who is comfortable supporting both clinical and administrative functions while providing outstanding patient care.
Position Overview:
This role will primarily support back-office clinical operations but will also provide front desk coverage as needed. The successful candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, demonstrate strong attention to detail, and enjoy working closely with both patients and providers.
Key Responsibilities:
Clinical•Prepare and stock exam rooms for patient visits and procedures. Escort patients to exam rooms and obtain vital signs. Assist providers during patient examinations and treatments. Perform blood draws and specimen collection as needed. Support physicians with in-office procedures, including C-Arm-assisted treatments. Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation within the EMR system. Administrative•Answer incoming calls and assist patients with scheduling needs. Schedule, confirm, and reschedule appointments. Verify insurance coverage and patient eligibility. Collect co-pays and process patient payments. Provide exceptional customer service to patients and visitors.
Qualifications:
Required•High School Diploma or equivalent. National Medical Assistant Certification required. Minimum of 1 year of Medical Assistant experience. Experience working with EMR/EHR systems and medical software. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities in a busy clinical environment. Team-oriented mindset with a patient-first approach. Preferred•Experience in Orthopedics, Spine, Pain Management, or Specialty Care. Comfortable working in both clinical and front-office settings.
