Candidate must be intelligent, dependable, eager to learn, able to multi-task, a good team player, honest, hard working, empathetic, and health-focused. The ideal candidate will have some training in Functional Medicine and/or Family Practice. Will consider an MA, LPN, or college graduate with experience. Four day work week! Beautiful office with an amazing staff and the best patients- come work with us!
Medical Assistant Job Responsibilities:
Greet and escort patient to exam room, gather detailed patient history, measure vital signs, review medications, and document all information in patient medical chart. Answer, triage, and process telephone and portal messages from patients, other providers, pharmacies, etc. Give instructions and education to patients as directed by medical providers. Ensure exam rooms are clean and stocked with adequate medical supplies. Handle Prior-Authorizations, Pre-Certifications, refills, referrals and other administrative tasks. Perform in-house testing like EKGs, Urinalysis, Strep Screen, Flu tests, mono tests, etc. Administer vaccines and injectable medications. Medical Assistant Qualifications /

Vitals EKG Injections/Vaccinations Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements:
MA, LPN, or BA, BS Familiarity with phone systems Must be computer proficient - we use MacBooks so mac experience is preferred. Previous Medical Experience required Functional Medicine or Family Practice knowledge is a plus Clean criminal background check necessary
