Job Description

Job Overview Strive Healing is a growing wellness and hormone optimization practice dedicated to helping patients feel their best through personalized, root-cause care. We pride ourselves on creating a warm, supportive environment where patients feel heard, valued, and empowered on their health journey. We are looking for a compassionate, organized, and motivated Medical Assistant who enjoys building relationships with patients and thrives in a small clinic setting. This role offers a unique opportunity to be involved in both clinical and administrative aspects of patient care while working closely with our provider and team. Responsibilites Patient Care & Clinical Support Room patients and obtain vital signs Perform patient intake and update medical histories Assist with in-office procedures and patient education Perform phlebotomy and process laboratory specimens Order and track laboratory testing Review incoming lab results and ensure proper follow-up Assist with medication refill requests and prior authorizations Support ongoing patient communication and care coordination Administrative Duties Schedule new and follow-up patient appointments Manage patient communications via phone, email, text, and secure messaging Verify insurance information and assist with billing-related questions Maintain accurate documentation within the electronic medical record (EMR) Coordinate referrals, testing, and specialty appointments as needed Assist with inventory management and clinic organization Help maintain a welcoming, efficient, and patient-centered office environment What We're Looking For Medical Assistant certification preferred Phlebotomy experience preferred Strong communication and customer service skills Experience with electronic medical records (EMR/EHR) Ability to multitask and work independently Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Professional, dependable, and compassionate demeanor
Pay:
From $18.00 per hour
