Limited Medical Radiographer (LMR) / Medical Assistant (MA)
Location:
Floyds Knobs, IN Job Summary:
We are seeking a Limited Medical Radiographer (LMR) with Medical Assistant (MA) or Patient Care Technician (PCT) experience to join a fast-paced urgent care team. In this role, you will support physicians and clinical staff by performing diagnostic X-ray exams, assisting with patient care, and ensuring efficient patient flow throughout the clinic. This is an excellent opportunity for LMRs looking to expand their hands-on clinical experience in a dynamic urgent care environment. Key Responsibilities Perform diagnostic X-ray examinations in accordance with established protocols and state regulations. Maintain efficient patient flow through exam and treatment areas. Assist physicians, nurse practitioners, and nursing staff with examinations, procedures, and patient care activities. Obtain and document patient information, including vital signs and medical history. Recognize and communicate abnormal findings to appropriate clinical staff. Deliver exceptional patient care while ensuring patient safety, comfort, and privacy. Maintain accurate documentation and comply with clinic policies and regulatory requirements. Qualifications Active Limited Medical Radiographer (LMR) certification/license (Required) Active state radiography license/certification as required by Kentucky and/or Indiana regulations BLS Certification (or obtained within 90 days of hire) High school diploma or equivalent preferred Minimum of 2 years of direct patient care experience preferred Medical Assistant training or experience preferred (not required for PCT candidates; training provided) Schedule Urgent Care Hours Monday

  • 8:00 PM Saturday
  • Sunday:
    9:00 AM
  • 5:00 PM Schedule Type Two-week rotating schedule Includes every other weekend
Pay:
$25.00
