$21•23/hour
Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM•4:30 PM LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a healthcare client in Carmel, IN to hire a detail-oriented and patient-focused Medical Assistant / Scheduler . This is a contract-to-hire opportunity with a stable, growing organization that values accuracy, professionalism, and strong patient communication. Key Responsibilities Schedule new and returning patient appointments with accuracy and efficiency Enter and maintain patient demographic and insurance information in the system Verify insurance details and ensure documentation is complete prior to appointments Provide excellent customer service when interacting with patients via phone and in person Coordinate with clinical staff to ensure smooth daily operations and scheduling flow Maintain confidentiality and compliance with healthcare regulations Qualifications Minimum 1 year of experience in a medical office (must be with the same organization) Prior experience with medical scheduling and patient registration required Strong data entry and computer skills; experience with EMR systems preferred Knowledge of insurance verification and patient intake processes High attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Excellent communication and customer service skills
Pay Details:
