Job Description

Overview Join our healthcare team as a Certified Medical Assistant, where your skills will directly impact patient care and clinical efficiency. In this vital role, you will provide exceptional patient support. Your expertise in medical procedures, administrative support, and patient interaction will help create a seamless healthcare experience for our diverse patient population. Duties Assist healthcare providers with patient intake, including collecting medical histories and documenting symptoms accurately. Measure and record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, respiration, and temperature to support accurate diagnosis and treatment. Prepare patients for examinations, ensuring comfort and compliance with safety protocols. Assist with laboratory procedures, including specimen collection and processing. Ideal candidate must be proficient in phlebotomy. Manage administrative duties such as appointment scheduling, patient check-in/out, and maintaining accurate patient records. Participate in patient education, explaining procedures, and medication instructions to promote health literacy. Maintain compliance with safety standards and patient confidentiality. Skills Proficient in phlebotomy is required. Proficient with
EPIC - EMR
system and medical terminology to ensure accurate documentation. Skilled in vital signs measurement, patient intake, and basic physiology and anatomy knowledge. Strong patient service skills, demonstrating empathy, professionalism, and excellent communication. Experience supporting medication administration. Capable of working efficiently in fast-paced clinical environments. Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple priorities, documentation, and patient flow seamlessly. Team-oriented mindset with a proactive approach to patient care and clinical support.
