This position performs routine medical assisting procedures to promote patient comfort, safety, and quality care.
Job Specifications and Core Competencies Education:
High school diploma or equivalent Completion of a one-year medical assistant program or an accredited two-year medical assisting program Previous experience or training in general medical office skills and procedures preferred Knowledge of medical terminology required
Licensure:
Certification or registration as a Medical Assistant through AAMA, AMT, NCCT, or NHA is preferred at hire and required within 90 days CPR certification required within 60 days of hire
Experience:
