Job Description

POSITION PURPOSE AND SUMMARY
After the patient's plan of care has been determined by the team leader (MD/APN), the Medical Assistant performs various designated patient care activities necessary in caring for the personal needs as well as provides a variety of clinical and clerical services to patients and staff members in the department. Assists the Medical Providers in providing treatments to patients
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
: High School graduate required Medical Assistant Certification from an accredited program Maintain current CPR certification Six months experience in wound ostomy preferred. Completes annual skill validation as well as safety and infection control procedures as well as maintain compliance in Hospital Annual Review, OSHA and Corporate Compliance Excellent attitude, interpersonal skills and communication abilities necessary to interact with patients, family members, physicians, and other hospital associates.
