Medical Assistant (Clinic & Lab) Ellsworth County Medical Center | Grow With ECMC Looking for a role where you can make a real difference every day? ECMC is hiring a Medical Assistant to support both our rural health clinics, outpatient clinic and laboratory services. This position offers variety, teamwork, and the opportunity to provide hands-on patient care in a fast-paced, supportive environment. ECMC. POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
Certificate or Diploma in Medical Assisting or Associate Degree in
Medical Assisting Experience:
No experience required; previous experience in a clinical or laboratory setting is preferred.
Preferred Skills:
Ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team Excellent clinical competency and strong interpersonal and organizational skills. Proficiency in using electronic medical records and clinical software systems Excellent skills in organization, prioritization, and multi-tasking. Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects. Excellent interpersonal and technical skills. Strong attention to detail. Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to explain diverse technical problems in easy-to-understand language. Strong independent judgment and decision-making skills.
Certifications/Registrations:
One of the following: Certificate in Medical Assisting, Diploma in Medical Assisting, Associate of Applied Science (AAS) in Medical Assisting (CMA, RMA, CCMA, or NCMA) Basic Life Support (BLS) PBT (ASCP) certification preferred; CPR certification
